Religion and spirituality have been part of the human experience since the beginning of time. But as technology has brought cultures together that may have been isolated in the past, many of us citizens of the world have found true spirituality to be elusive. The begotten Son is you. The "only begotten Son" does not refer to Jesus' body, but to his Christ consciousness. The "only begotten" is the spiritual human, the principle of the divinity residing in all humankind (The Oneness Gospel, page 27).
But The Oneness Gospel is not just a reframing of Christian theology, but also many of the spiritual wisdoms of the world, especially the rich teachings of ancient India. In a style that is both accessible and inspirational, Charlene expertly weaves together philosophy and practice, ultimately bringing us an understanding that, no matter what path we choose to follow, there is ultimately only one purpose in life—to achieve Oneness with the Divine.
